To coordinate and provide the highest quality standard of orthopedic care to each child. This care comes at no cost to the patient or family and is continued into their adulthood as needed.

How You Can Help
Each trip requires a significant amount of medical supplies and medications. With no administrative overhead, your donation goes directly towards supplies to make these trips possible.
Who We Are
The Silver Service Children’s Foundation is an all volunteer medical team comprised of board certified pediatric orthopedic surgeons, anesthesiologists, registered nurses, surgical technologists and instrument specialists. Based in Chicago, we are a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides pediatric orthopedic surgical care twice each year to the underserved children of Colombia and other countries in South America. Our work is made possible through partnerships with our friends and colleagues at Casa de Colombia and the Foundation Hospital San Jose in Buga, Colombia. We have completed 55 medical missions to date!
